As Senior Vice President of Technology and Chief Information Officer for ION Media Networks in 2012, helped lead the migration of their new state-of-the-art datacenter
Veteran-Owned Small Business Person of the Year Award for South Florida by the Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
Donald Williams
Served US Navy as an Aviation Machinist Mate, with specialization as a Jet Engine Technician
Also performed duties as a Collateral Duty Inspector, which gave him signing authority of airworthiness of aircraft
Earned full qualification as a Naval CH-46 Crew Chief, Rescue Swimmer, and Collateral Duty Inspector
Received undergraduate degree from Hampton University, a Master’s of Engineering Science at Penn State, and a Master’s of Science in Engineering from the Wharton School of Business
Among elite few to be trained, certified and qualified as a Space Shuttle Rescue swimmer
Served multiple leadership roles within Vanguard’s Information Technology division
